Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Travel is seeking a Travel Advisor who will support customers with travel reservations and complex questions, delivering service excellence. You will proactively work with providers to negotiate resolutions, minimize costs, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

The role requires 2+ years in travel, GDS knowledge, and strong communication. Training will be provided; local travel may be required as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in travel industry with GDS and/or self-booking tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new tech quickly.
• Strong time management and multitasking across multiple screens.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries on travel arrangements and resolve issues using root-cause tactics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and deliver timely resolutions with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of client programs, products, and procedures and support booking tools/websites.
• Negotiate with vendors/customers to reach acceptable resolutions including loyalty points and waivers.
• Maintain call quality and confidentiality; inform supervisor of issues and take corrective action.
• Assist other Travel Advisors with policies and booking apps; coach on best practices; manage escalations.
• Foster energy and relationships with customers and departments to improve service levels.
