Job summary

Regent Santa Monica Beach, part of IHG Hotels, seeks a driven Group Sales Manager to secure and manage luxury group programs, cultivate key client relationships, and maximize revenue across guestrooms, meetings, and events. You will partner with on-property teams, the IHG Global Sales Organization, and Revenue Management for seamless execution.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced market with an established luxury hotel network and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.

Qualifications

1 year minimum of Group Sales experience in luxury hotel or high-profile urban market preferred.
Proven ability in negotiating and presenting to clients and planners.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, tradeshows, and events.
Experience with hotel sales systems (Delphi) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Identify, source, and secure new group opportunities within assigned segments.
Prospect through targeted outreach, networking, and industry events to generate qualified leads.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Develop and execute competitive sales strategies aligned with property goals.
Partner with Revenue Management to design rate and inventory strategies that maximize yield.
Collaborate with Catering, Events, Operations, and Marketing to ensure flawless delivery.
