Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for Lunar Systems based in Mojave, CA. You will lead the detailed design, development, integration and testing of propulsion systems and VTVL vehicles, collaborating across engineering teams to achieve verification objectives and manage risks.

The role demands hands-on hardware experience and leadership across full system lifecycle, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager. Onsite work with a mission-driven, technical culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related technical field plus 5 years of relevant space mission experience including demonstrated leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience in multiple propulsion, avionics/electronics, software, embedded systems, systems engineering, integration/testing, verification/validation and configuration management.
• Hands-on hardware experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed technical design, development, integration and testing for propulsion systems and VTVL vehicles.
• Develop test products to support integration and test operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet verification objectives and manage technical risk.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation and reporting; present to partners and customers.
