Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Mojave, CA seeks a Principal Systems Engineer for Lunar Systems to lead design, integration, and testing of propulsion and VTVL hardware and software. The role drives verification activities, writes technical documentation, and guides cross‑functional teams across engineering disciplines.

You will work onsite with senior engineers, shaping mission requirements, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies for complex space systems and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related technical field plus 5 years of space mission experience including leadership roles.
• Experience across propulsion, avionics, software, embedded and systems engineering domains.
• Hands-on hardware experience and full lifecycle design, development, manufacturing, testing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design, integration and testing for propulsion hardware and VTVL systems.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation and reporting.
• Present technical milestones during concept and development phases; support proposals.
• Collaborate with partners to resolve technical risks and customer requirements.
