Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Senior Estimator for Low Voltage to lead preconstruction and estimating for low voltage systems. You will own the bid strategy from first look to final submission and build complete, accurate proposals.

Responsibilities include leading RFP responses, reviewing plans and codes, and guiding the estimating approach, while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading low voltage estimates over $2M.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and ConEst (or similar).
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
• Knowledge of electrical, communications, life-safety, and accessibility codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complete, accurate, and competitive RFP responses.
• Review plans, specs, bid documents, codes, and schedules to define scope, flag risk, and set the estimating approach.
• Spot document conflicts, omissions, and constructability concerns and drive fixes.
• Build estimate plans, bid schedules, work assignments, and closeout requirements.
