Job summary

EC Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for low voltage systems in Redmond, Oregon. You will manage a team of estimators, coordinate with vendors, and drive competitive proposals for high-value pursuits.

You will review plans, define scope, prepare estimates, and guide bid strategies while ensuring compliance and quality across all submission documents. This on-site role emphasizes leadership and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience leading low voltage estimates valued at more than $2 million.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam for quantity takeoffs and with ConEst or comparable estimating software.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complete, accurate, and competitive responses to RFPs.
• Review project plans, specifications, bid documents, codes, standards to define scope and estimating approach.
• Develop estimate plans, bid schedules, work assignments, and closeout requirements for pursuits.
• Prepare and review quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and estimating software.
• Summarize takeoffs into definable bid units and develop pricing, labor units, and subcontract values.
• Lead kickoff and bid close meetings and perform quality-control reviews of proposals.
