Job summary

Catapult Federal Services seeks a Senior Low Voltage Estimator to drive estimates for data center, mission-critical, and commercial low-voltage projects from bid review through handoff. You will evaluate large drawings, perform detailed takeoffs, establish labor factors, solicit vendor pricing, and identify risks to price bids competitively.

The role requires 10+ years in low voltage/telecom, strong Bluebeam and Excel skills, and collaboration with sales, operations, and project teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience within the low voltage, telecommunications, structured cabling, or technology construction sector.
• Extensive track record independently estimating complex low voltage and structured cabling construction projects.
• Direct experience estimating large data center, mission‑critical, or major technology infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, addenda, bid instructions, and safety requirements to define project scope.
• Develop detailed estimates for complex data center, mission-critical, and structured cabling projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings using Bluebeam and standard estimating software.
• Create material bills of material for copper, fiber, containment, pathways, racks, cabinets, and testing.
• Lead bid reviews, present methodology, risk evaluations, and pricing recommendations.
