Job summary

Shareco Communications, a 30-year-old low voltage and communications contractor based in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Low Voltage Estimator to produce project-specific construction estimates from plans and specs for commercial, industrial, and healthcare environments.

You will oversee the RFQ process, review bid documents, and manage all facets of estimating from bid to proposal, including design-build and MAC requests, working under deadlines and collaborating with project teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience on commercial and industrial projects.
• Relevant field construction experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate construction estimates for bids for general contractors, owners, developers, and end-users.
• Analyze drawings and specs to create reliable estimates and perform budget pricing.
• Draft scope letters, proposals, and vendor solicitations; manage RFIs.
• Support estimating programs and databases, and meet deadlines.
