Job summary

AFL is seeking a Low Voltage Technician III to lead the installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation of structured cabling and telecommunications systems. This on-site role provides technical expertise and direct customer interaction to ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently.

You will oversee copper cabling installation, perform copper certification, manage material usage, and maintain a clean, safe jobsite.

Qualifications

Experience installing and maintaining telecommunications and low‑voltage infrastructure.
Ability to terminate copper to quality standards.
Strong reading of scopes of work, drawings, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform installation, termination, labeling, and testing of copper cabling.
Perform copper certification and manage test results and documentation.
Plan material usage and inventory to support timelines.
Maintain a safe, clean jobsite in line with EHS policies.
Provide project status updates to the Project Manager and elevate risks as needed.
Coordinate subcontractors and crews to meet scope, schedule and quality.
