Job summary

AFL Telecommunications, LLC is hiring a Low Voltage Technician III to lead installation, testing, commissioning and documentation of structured cabling and telecom systems. You will act as a working lead, interfacing with customers on-site to ensure safety, quality, and timely project execution.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 85%), strong copper termination skills, and the ability to read diagrams and reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in telecom/low-voltage installation and maintenance.
• Proven copper termination skills to high quality standards.
• Ability to read scopes of work, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with testing tools and documenting results.
• Strong communication and on-site leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and test copper cabling.
• Perform copper certification and manage test results and docs.
• Plan material use and inventory to meet project timelines.
• Maintain safe, clean jobsite per EHS policies.
• Provide project status updates and escalate risks as needed.
• Coordinate subcontractors and crews to meet scope and schedule.
• Serve as on-site customer point of contact for installation activities.
