Job summary

AFL Telecommunications, LLC is seeking a Low Voltage Technician III to lead installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation of structured cabling and telecommunications systems. This role provides on-site leadership, technical expertise, and direct customer interaction to ensure projects are completed safely and in compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience installing and maintaining telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructure.
Proficient with copper termination to quality standards.
Ability to read scopes of work, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Willingness to travel up to 85% nationwide.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, termination, labeling, and testing of copper cabling.
Perform copper certification, analyze test results, and deliver documentation.
Plan material usage and manage inventory to support timelines.
Maintain safe, clean jobsite in compliance with EHS policies.
Act as on-site customer contact and coordinate with crews and vendors.
