Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking a General Logistics Superintendent to lead logistics operations on multiple solar and BESS projects. Based in Ankeny, IA, you will supervise logistics staff, develop procedures, and coordinate with project managers to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

The role requires 7+ years in logistics, strong leadership, and extensive travel (up to 100%). Excellent communication and subcontractor management are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in logistics operations.
• Proven track record as a Superintendent on large projects.
• Experience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors.
• Minimum of 2 years of solar PV experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the logistics superintendents and their craft across multiple projects.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to facilitate logistics coordination and material tracking across multiple projects.
• Provide coaching and development for logistics superintendents.
• Implement training programs for team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills.
• Assist in developing detailed schedules for all logistic and offload activities
• Coordinate activities, schedule, material procurement, project logistics, and temporary facility plans with the project manager and field staff
