Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support nationwide solar and energy storage EPC projects across the U.S. This on-site, field-based role requires relocation to project sites for 8–12 months at a time and frequent travel.

You’ll help drive schedules, procurement, permits, safety, and project controls on high‑impact installations. Relocation to sites is expected, with Monday–Friday hours and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus 2+ years construction experience
• Alternatively, 7+ years managing HV substations, PV, BESS or similar capital projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with construction scheduling, CPM logic, and industry best practices
• Willingness to travel full-time (100% nationwide)
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the execution of project deliverables, schedules, and timelines
• Lead procurement processes and coordinate engineering solutions in collaboration with project personnel
• Acquire and sustain all necessary permits and ensure adherence to project specifications
• Track project progress, reporting, and key performance metrics
• Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with project specifications
• Support cost tracking, resource planning, and overall project controls
• Demonstrate leadership in safety, initiating job hazard analyses, and advocating for safe work practices
