Job summary

The role emphasizes customer-facing leadership, strategic planning, and driving LEAN improvements to meet service and cost goals. The candidate will hire and develop a high-performing team, maintain strong customer relations, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.
• Five (5) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
• Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required.
• Three (3) years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• One (1) year or more customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the customer to ensure issues are resolved promptly and satisfaction remains high.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
• Identify and solve operational issues with LEAN initiatives to improve productivity and results.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees.
• Maintain open communications within and across work groups; review data and take action.
• Possibly manage Profit & Loss statements based on scope.
