Responsibilities

• Lead daily dispatch: coordinate routes, assign drivers, monitor freight movement.
• Be the communication hub: primary contact for drivers, customers and warehouse teams.
• Manage material flow: track inbound/outbound loads and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure safety and compliance: reinforce DOT/OSHA standards and coach for improvement.
• Optimize resources: build driver/equipment schedules and balance workloads.
• Problem-solve in real time: triage issues, initiate corrective actions, document incidents.
• Report and improve: maintain records and contribute ideas to improve service and costs.
