Blue Whale Materials in Bartlesville, OK is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to schedule and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring production needs and customer delivery timelines are met.

You will partner with the Materials Manager to plan shipment timing, generate purchase orders, manage dock appointments, and enter landed costs into the ERP system, serving as the primary contact with carriers and freight brokers to keep shipments on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination or related supply chain roles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to align with production and delivery requirements.
• Work with Materials Manager to plan timing and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Generate and issue purchase orders as needed.
• Schedule dock appointments and coordinate with dock personnel.
• Enter landed cost data in the ERP system for accurate costing.
• Liaise with carriers, brokers, and 3PLs to negotiate rates and resolve issues.
• Track shipments and communicate delays to stakeholders.
• Maintain shipment records and POD documentation.
• Monitor freight costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support month-end freight accruals and landed cost reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
