Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a Loan Review Officer in Maryland to support independent evaluation of loan quality, documentation adequacy, and loan administration effectiveness.

You will assist in communicating results of reviews both verbally and in writing, while ensuring adherence to banking laws and internal policies. The role requires 3+ years as Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review, or Credit Analysis, with preferred BAI or RMA certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required.
• Accounting or Finance major is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review or Credit Analysis.
• BAI Loan Review Certification or RMA Credit Risk Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, objective evaluation of loan portfolio quality and loan documentation adequacy.
• Assist with identification and assessment of credit, legal, and strategic risks from lending activities.
• Assess collectability through customer financials, collateral, and payment history; assign risk grades and suggest corrective actions.
• Evaluate loan documentation and loan administration effectiveness.
• Lead exit meetings for unit reviews and communicate results in written and verbal form.
