Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a Loan Review professional to support independent evaluations of the loan portfolio, documentation adequacy, and loan administration effectiveness.

You will assist in communicating review results in verbal and written form and help identify credit, legal and strategic risks arising from lending activities. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, at least 3 years of Federal Bank Examiner/Loan Review or Credit Analysis experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field required; accounting or finance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review, or Credit Analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of commercial and consumer lending, banking laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with objective evaluation of loan portfolio quality and documentation adequacy.
• Assist in communicating results from reviews verbally and in writing.
• Assess credit, legal and strategic risks arising from lending activities and assign risk grades.
• Recommend corrective actions for resolution of problem loans.
• Evaluate loan documentation adequacy and loan administration effectiveness.
• Lead exit meetings for unit reviews under supervision.
• Read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents; write management reports.
