Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. seeks a Loan Review professional to assist in the independent evaluation of the loan portfolio, ensure quality of documentation, and assess loan administration effectiveness.

The role supports communication of results verbally and in writing, and requires knowledge of credit risk, lending regulations, and financial analysis. Responsibilities include identifying risks, evaluating collateral documentation, and leading exit meetings for unit reviews, under the Loan Review Department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review, or Credit Analysis capacity.
• BAI Loan Review Certification or RMA Credit Risk Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial and consumer lending and banking laws/regulations.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with objective evaluation of loan portfolio quality, documentation, and loan administration effectiveness.
• Identify and assess credit, legal, and strategic risks from lending activities.
• Assess collectability of extensions of credit via financial information, collateral, and payment history; assign risk grades.
• Recommend corrective actions for resolution or workout of problem situations.
• Lead exit meetings for unit reviews and prepare management reports.
