Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a skilled Loan Review Analyst to support the independent evaluation of the loan portfolio and loan documentation quality. You will help assess credit risk and communicate results in writing and verbally, under supervision.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, at least three years’ experience in bank exam or credit analysis, and familiarity with lending regulations. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required.
• Accounting or Finance major preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review or Credit Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in independent evaluation of the loan portfolio quality and loan documentation adequacy.
• Assess credit risk and monitor compliance with loan policy and regulations.
• Assign risk grades reflecting likelihood of default or loss; recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate loan and collateral documentation and effectiveness of loan administration.
• Review commercial credits of varying types and complexities; lead exit meetings for unit reviews.
