Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a Loan Review professional to support independent and objective evaluation of the loan portfolio quality, documentation adequacy, and loan administration effectiveness.

The role involves communicating results verbally and in writing to management and stakeholders. Candidate should have a strong knowledge of commercial and consumer lending, banking laws, and risk assessment practices, with experience in credit risk analysis and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field; Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review or Credit Analysis.
• BAI Loan Review Certification or RMA Credit Risk Certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the independent and objective evaluation of the loan portfolio quality and adequacy of loan documentation.
• Assist with communication of review results in verbal and written forms.
• Assess credit risk and monitor compliance with loan policy, policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify and assess credit, legal and strategic risks arising from lending activities.
• Evaluate adequacy of loan and collateral documentation and effectiveness of loan administration.
• Lead exit meetings for unit reviews.
