Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a senior construction professional to lead a team on LNG plant projects in the US Gulf Coast. You will supervise superintendents and craft personnel, direct schedules, coordinate subcontract work, and ensure work complies with project policies and budgets.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years without a degree.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• LNG project construction experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams.
• Construction site supervisory experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction.
• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
• Extensive piping experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise superintendents and craft professionals on LNG projects.
• Direct craft activities, schedules, and coordinate subcontract work.
• Ensure tools, materials and equipment are available and used effectively.
• Ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen and Craft Professionals.
