Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a seasoned field construction leader to oversee craft professionals on LNG plant projects along the U.S. Gulf Coast.

You will supervise superintendents, coordinate subcontract work, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence on complex, heavy industrial sites. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 10–13+ years of relevant experience, mobility across locations, and strong knowledge of Bechtel ES&H standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation relating to field activities.
• Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy and relevant ES&H standards.
• Experience on LNG construction sites, especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
• Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and database applications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Leadership / Supervision of superintendents and craft teams (50–100 craft personnel).
• Schedules and reviews work by each craft and coordinates with subcontractors.
• Manages field material requisitions and ensures tools and equipment are available.
• Ensures design documents are current and changes are approved; ensures compliance with specs, schedules, and budgets.
