Job summary

Clearwater Living in Newport Beach, CA seeks a dynamic Sales Director to drive rental sales for all community apartments, manage leads from inquiry to move-in, and build strong referral networks. This role combines strategic sales planning with hands-on leadership in a fast-paced senior living environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of successful senior living sales experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum three to five years of successful sales experience in senior living, hospitality, or related industry.
• First Aid Certification/CPR/BLS preferred.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all community rentals sales and maintain occupancy and revenue by generating qualified inquiries, referrals, tours and closings.
• Conduct daily property walk through to ensure readiness for guests.
• Facilitate the move-in process from lead generation to tours, qualification and move-in.
• Develop a pre-call plan for presentations and strategy to convert leads to sales.
• Collaborate with Executive Director and leadership to align sales and marketing across the community.
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and referral partners to drive leads.
• Plan visits and calls to advance relationships toward referrals.
• Plan and conduct internal events to showcase the communities to the local market.
• Maintain and update referral database with contacts and statuses.
• Create and manage quarterly Sales and Marketing Plan with the Executive Director.
• Develop annual operating budgets and execute the Sales and Marketing Plan.
