Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Director of Sales to drive occupancy and revenue growth by leading the full sales process from inquiry to move-in. You will develop strategic plans, nurture referral networks, and partner with leadership to implement creative sales strategies that align with community goals.

The role coaches staff to maximize referrals and ensures a positive experience for prospects and families while maintaining strong community relationships and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in senior living.
• Proven closing skills with a record of high occupancy results.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web platforms, and EHR/HR systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize revenue-generating sales activities to support community growth.
• Serve as primary contact for inquiries, converting leads to move-ins.
• Develop outreach strategies to expand referral networks and generate leads.
• Conduct discovery with prospects to tailor placement in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Follow up consistently to nurture relationships and move prospects through decisions.
• Build partnerships with local businesses and healthcare providers for referrals and added value.
