Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, Maryland, is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for part-time day and evening shifts. The RN will promote residents’ health and wellbeing, collaborate with the care team, and provide physical and psychosocial support to residents and families.

Requirements include an active Maryland RN license, minimum 6 months of RN experience, CPR certification, and basic computer skills. EMR experience preferred.

Formación

• Active RN license in Maryland.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web applications.
• EMR experience preferred, CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform all clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and educating residents/family.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the team.
• Document in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
