Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking part-time Registered Nurses (RNs) for day and evening shifts in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. The RN promotes residents' health by collaborating with the care team and providers.

Responsibilities include clinical duties, medication administration, care planning, documentation in EMR, and infection prevention. A Maryland RN license and CPR certification are required; experience with seniors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Maryland.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families focusing on holistic care.
• Perform clinical duties per nursing standards and state acts.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about conditions, medications and self-care.
• Monitor residents for changes in status and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans in collaboration with the team.
• Document care in the electronic medical record accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
