Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living, located in Massachusetts, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote residents' health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates.

The RN will perform clinical duties, monitor residents, and support families, while maintaining infection prevention practices and documenting care in the EMR. Must have an active MA RN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (MA).
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards.
• Promote resident independence by teaching residents and families about condition, medications, and self-care.
• Monitor residents to identify changes in status and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident preferences in the EMR and ensure timely documentation.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
