Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote, restore, and maintain residents’ health by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care staff. The RN will provide physical and psychosocial support to residents and families, with a focus on placing the resident first.

The position requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience in caring for seniors or residents with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet, and web applications are required.
• Active RN license in the practicing state is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote residents’ independence by establishing care goals and educating residents/family members.
• Monitor residents’ clinical status and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care for assigned residents.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the resident’s EMR and participate in care conferences as requested.
