Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to promote and maintain residents’ health, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The RN provides physical and psych-social support, guiding residents and families in care planning.

You will work across day, evening, and night shifts, with a strong emphasis on documenting care, infection prevention, and holistic planning in collaboration with the neighborhood team.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and teaching residents/family members about conditions, meds, and self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic care plan in collaboration with the team.
• Support residents’ preferences in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
