Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Manager to oversee resident care and the care staff, ensuring highest standards of service, safety and resident satisfaction. You will lead development of individualized care plans, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will coordinate programs, support families, and promote a resident-centered approach while maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2+ years of experience preferred.
• CNA or CMT certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement resident-directed programming with DON and leadership.
• Incorporate resident needs into individualized service plans.
• Coordinate orientation and training for care staff and volunteers.
• Lead staff in relation to the care plan and dementia best practices.
• Schedule care staff coverage and organize ongoing training.
• Ensure high-quality resident care across all levels of care.
