Cedarhurst Senior Living seeks a Resident Care Specialist to oversee day-to-day resident care and lead community staff in delivering person-directed care. You will oversee onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing training for resident care teams, including during community openings.

You will guide care plan development, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with families to enhance resident well-being and move-in experiences. Strong leadership and a patient-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Certification as Medication Aide required.
• 1-year certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of senior living care laws and restrictions.

Aufgaben

• Direct resident care staff hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training.
• Assess residents’ needs and integrate care goals into service plans.
• Conduct skills competency training for new staff on a routine basis.
• Support staff retention and onboarding processes.
• Mentor staff and volunteers to deliver targeted training.
• Attend corporate meetings and training sessions as required.
