Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of resident care and the care staff team. You will ensure safety, quality of life, and regulatory compliance, while developing individualized care plans and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2+ years of experience preferred OR 4+ years of relevant experience.
• CNA or CMT certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency with digital tools and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate resident-directed programming to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Assess resident needs at move-in and integrate goals into service plans.
• Coordinate resident orientation and monitor changes in service plans.
• Provide leadership and education to care staff and families on individualized service plans.
• Mentor staff to deliver training and ensure care programs are implemented.
• Schedule care staff, provide hands-on care as needed, ensure adequate coverage.
