Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Resident Care Manager to oversee resident care and lead the care team in delivering exceptional service. You will develop individualized care plans, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while promoting dignity and quality of life for residents.

With a balance of administrative oversight and hands-on care, you will mentor staff, coordinate schedules, and engage with families to support residents’ physical and emotional well-being in a care-focused

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• CNA or CMT certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise resident care plans and activities.
• Lead and mentor care staff; coordinate schedules and coverage.
• Conduct staff orientation, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high standards of safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Communicate with residents, families, and leadership to coordinate care.
• Promote resident well-being and independence where possible.
• Assist with day-to-day nursing tasks as needed.
