Cedarhurst Living seeks a Resident Care Manager to oversee resident care and the care staff, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and resident satisfaction. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will develop individualized care plans, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role balances administrative oversight with direct resident care and staff development, promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years of experience preferred OR 4+ years of relevant experience.
• CMA certification required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate resident-directed programming.
• Incorporate resident goals into individualized service plans.
• Supervise and mentor care staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Provide training to staff and families on care plans and dementia best practices.
• Assist with orientation, onboarding, and performance feedback for staff.
• Maintain high standards of safety and resident well-being.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding resident care.
