Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Manager to oversee resident care and the care staff, ensuring safety, satisfaction, and high-quality service. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will develop individualized care plans and guide staff to maintain regulatory compliance while promoting resident dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2+ years of experience preferred OR 4+ years of relevant experience.
• CNA or CMT certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate resident-directed programming.
• Assess residents’ needs and incorporate goals into service plans.
• Lead and mentor care staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
