Sunny Isle Housing in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain building exteriors, common areas, and grounds. Responsibilities include handling service requests, turnovers, and safety compliance, with after-hours availability for emergencies.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and service-oriented, with experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the building maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Basic leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily interior and exterior maintenance in common areas.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out.
• Paint and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist with inspections of apartments and systems.
• Respond to work orders and log details in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor landscape contractor.
• Maintain safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and secure all keys.
