Job summary

Sunny Isle Housing, a 55-unit senior living community in St. Croix, VI, seeks a diligent Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property and common areas. You will work independently while supporting a respectful, service-focused environment.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with overtime eligibility. The anticipated base pay range is $15.67 - $16.00 per hour, and training is provided for the right candidate along with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial work is preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all areas of the facility daily.
• Empty trash, manage waste, restock supplies as needed.
• Clean restrooms, windows, and floors; perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report hazards to management.
• Assist with event setup/breakdown and special cleaning projects.
