Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents across daily living activities with a holistic, person-centered approach. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm, offering meaningful care within our award-winning campus.

You will perform daily physical therapy treatments, follow regulations and care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience with older adults preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current state license in physical therapy where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Providing holistic care supporting residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Delivering day-to-day physical therapy treatments across the Erickson Senior Living continuum of care.
• Following Medicare, state and federal regulations, APTA guidelines, and company procedures including documentation and billing.
• Implementing residents’ personal care plans focusing on strengths and preferences, delivering comfort and belonging.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs throughout care.
