Job summary

Peerstar LLC seeks a Certified Peer Support Supervisor for Senior Living to lead and supervise Certified Peer Specialists delivering recovery-focused services in home and community settings. You will oversee documentation, weekly supervision meetings, and ensure adherence to the 10 fundamental elements of recovery.

The role requires a related degree or CPS certification, 2–4 years of direct mental health care experience, and strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 2–4 years of mental health direct care experience; completion of a peer specialist supervisory training curriculum approved within 6 months of assuming the role.
• Associate’s degree in related field; 3 years of mental health direct care experience; completion of supervisory training within 6 months.
• High school diploma/GED; 4 years of mental health direct care experience; completion of supervisory training within 6 months; CPS certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision meetings with certified peer specialists
• Monitor and review peer specialists’ documentation
• Ensure alignment with the 10 fundamental elements and guiding principles of mental health recovery
• Oversee peer interactions and service plans addressing current needs
• Provide feedback, guidance and support to peer specialists
• Educate on community resources for peers
• Run daily service delivery reports and address gaps
• Assign specialists to peers based on needs and training
• Oversee initial 6-hour field supervision for new specialists
• Complete high‑risk reviews and follow up as needed
