Job summary

Peerstar LLC is seeking a Certified Peer Support Supervisor to lead and supervise Certified Peer Specialists in home and community settings, ensuring recovery-oriented services and compliant documentation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; and
• Completion of a peer supervisor training curriculum approved by the Department of Public Welfare within 6 months of assuming the position
• Two to four years of mental health direct care experience, which may include peer support services

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision meetings with certified peer specialists
• Monitor and review peer specialists’ documentation
• Ensure peer specialists follow the 10 fundamental elements and guiding principles of mental health recovery
• Monitor peer specialist’s interactions and interventions with peers to ensure quality care
• Provide consistent feedback, guidance and support to peer specialists
• Educate and work with peer specialists on community resources
• Run daily reports to monitor service delivery
• Assign peer specialists to peers based on needs and availability
• Oversee initial 6-hour field supervision for new peers
• Complete high-risk reviews and follow-up as needed
