PeerStar is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS) for a senior living setting. This role emphasizes lived experience and aims to empower older adults through connection, encouragement, and shared understanding.

You will support recovery and wellness goals, listen, advocate, and help others achieve growth in a personal, transformative way. This role values empathy, empowerment, and lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in the recovery process from mental health disorders and/or substance use.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (preferred)
• Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state Of Pennsylvania
• Criminal History Clearances- PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse, FBI
