Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS) in a senior living setting to offer hope, connection, and empowerment to older adults in Pennsylvania. Leverage lived experience to support recovery and wellness goals and advocate for clients’ needs.

You’ll work beyond task-based care, helping peers navigate recovery, build meaningful relationships, and improve quality of life through compassionate guidance and shared understanding.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in the recovery process from mental health disorders and/or substance use.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (preferred)
• Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state Of Pennsylvania
• Criminal History Clearances- PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse, FBI
