Yancey House seeks a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities in a safe, nurturing environment. You will provide ADL assistance, monitor health, and promote independence with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents, assisting with ADLs and mobility.
• Monitor health, report changes to nursing staff, and assist with reminders for medications.
• Engage residents through companionship and social activities to promote wellbeing.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas and follow infection control protocols.
