Job summary

Wilson House is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

As a PCA, you will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal support, and hydration, while monitoring health changes and communicating with the nursing team. You will engage residents in social activities and ensure safety and infection-control compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Experience in personal care or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, feeding and hydration as needed.
• Monitor health changes and report to nursing staff promptly.
• Engage residents in activities and ensure safety and infection control.
