Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Executive Director to support the Executive Director with planning, implementing, and evaluating all community operations, including P&L accountability and serving as the HR contact.

The AED will lead front desk oversight, recruit and develop staff, support resident care programs, maintain facilities, and drive resident satisfaction while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, human services, gerontology, or a related field required.
• Minimum five years in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare leadership.
• Proven ability to meet financial goals and drive sales.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating all operations.
• Provide HR point of contact and oversee front desk staff.
• Support recruitment and staff development across departments.
• Lead resident care, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping operations.
• Participate in sales activities and resident events.
• Maintain resident records and cultivate community relationships.
