Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks an accomplished Executive Director to oversee all community operations, ensuring outstanding care and services while maintaining financial stability and regulatory compliance.

You will lead budget planning, staffing, and daily operations, building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners. A bachelor’s degree and licensed administrator status are preferred, with 5+ years in senior living leadership and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services preferred or combination of education and supervisory experience.
• Licensed Administrator in good standing where required by state regulations.
• 5+ years in a progressive leadership role in a senior living operation; hospitality experience a plus.
• Understanding and compliance with all federal, state, and local resident rights regulations.
• Demonstrated budget management and financial planning skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high integrity.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends and be on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities

• On-site executive for all operations, serving staff, residents, prospects, and community organizations.
• Supervise and motivate all department directors and staff; maintain training and morale.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction by delivering quality services.
• Lead development and execution of community sales and operations strategies per company goals.
• Manage budgets and cash flow; anticipate variances and deficits.
• Provide leadership for staff and residents; solve problems proactively.
• Act as main property contact for Cogir Senior Living corporate staff and maintain relationships.
• Ensure compliance with policies, licenses, and all regulations.
