Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Executive Director to support the Executive Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating all operations for the community. The role includes P&L responsibility and serving as the community's sales leader and HR point of contact.

You will oversee front desk operations, drive recruiting, manage budget and cash flow, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining resident satisfaction and high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, human services, gerontology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare management in a leadership role.
• Proven sales track record and ability to meet financial goals.
• Knowledge of computer systems including CRM, ATS, HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all operations, acting as a point of contact for staff, residents, prospects, and the public.
• Direct oversight of front desk staff, including training and supervision.
• Support recruiting efforts across departments and maintain a strong team environment.
• Oversee hiring, promotions, and retention of personnel with fair consistency.
• Lead onboarding initiatives for new hires and provide leadership to staff and residents.
• Assist in maintaining buildings and preventive maintenance programs.
• Foster staff creativity to deliver high-quality, economical services to residents.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction and up-to-date records.
