Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking an experienced nursing coordinator to oversee staffing and clinical operations across skilled units in Lisle, IL. You will lead the nursing team, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate with leadership to address patient care needs.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, a nursing degree, and 5–10+ years of direct resident care. Daily operations will include QA, admissions review, and incident follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 5+ years of direct resident care experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate staffing on all nursing units, shifts, every day.
• Maintain reports and participate in required meetings.
• Coordinate with ADON and Unit Manager on staff issues.
• Oversee clinical processes to Senior Lifestyle standards.
• Review potential admissions for care needs and staffing feasibility.
• Monitor health records and incidents, scheduling needed meetings.
• Follow up on falls, infection control, and medication delivery errors.
• Audit quality assurance parameters and schedule in-services.
• Build relationships with professional care providers for residents.
• Maintain communications with NHA and ED about nursing issues.
