Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New York is seeking a Move-In Coordinator to guide families through the transition process for new residents. The role focuses on coordinating move-in activities, completing documentation, and aligning with clinical leadership to ensure a smooth, welcoming start.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full move-in process using the Resident Move-In Checklist
• Review and explain the Move-In Packet and required documentation
• Coordinate resident assessments with clinical leadership
• Ensure all state-required paperwork is completed prior to move-in
• Prepare resident administrative files in compliance with regulations
• Oversee suite readiness and coordinate with Maintenance as needed
• Welcome residents and families on move-in day and provide community orientation
• Maintain proactive communication with families and physicians
• Support Founders Club benefits (where applicable)
• Protect resident confidentiality and support compliance standards
